Tourist Visa

The Canada Tourist Visa lets you visit for a short period, usually less than 6 months, for travelling, holidays or Visiting family members.  People planning for such visits have to get a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) also known as a Tourist Visa for Canada.  The Tourist Visa allows you to request approval to arrive in the country.  Two types of Canadian Visitor Visas are available one for single entry and another for multiple-entry use.

Single entry visas are granted for a period of up to 6 months whereas multiple-entry visitor visas have a maximum validity date of up to 10 years or one month before the expiry date on the passport.  Multiple-entry visa allows you to travel in and out of Canada multiple times as the name suggests, for example, you have arrived in Canada and now fly to some other country and again fly back to Canada and then return to your home country.
